Most of you that know the Fitzgerald family at all, know that we have been incredibly blessed to be raised by a mom who has been a pillar of strength and love throughout our lives. Recently, we discovered that she has ovarian cancer. She is one of the toughest people I know, and she came through the surgery and recovery amazingly well. She will start chemo tomorrow and will have a treatment every 21 days for 6 months. Please continue to keep her in your prayers.

What a beautiful tribute to a dear friend, Ethel. We were friends at church in New Orleans and I saw her strong in the Lord so often. That she has ovarian cancer is something I didn't know.
