Christmas 2006

Ian on Christmas eve. He just found out that there is a nice AND naughty list.

Here is Ian surveying all that Santa brought on Christmas morning. Looks like he made it to on the nice list....not that he was worried!

"Look Daddy, I can do it all by myself!"

Ian's favorite part....the paper!

Santa brought a rocking giraffe...perfect for his room!

Mimi and Bo gave Ian the Zoo animal choo-choo train...a very big hit!

"Thanks Granny for the red wagon. Can't wait for warm weather!"

Point Clear Trip

We went to the Marriott Grand Point Clear last week for 3 nights. It was an excuse for me to get CME (Continuing Medical Education) and just for us to get away.
On the way down, we met up with Scott and Jennifer Walker (friends from college) and Ian met their son Jack.
Ian was clowning around on the bed.
Our room had a view of the marina. Some of the boats had the Christmas Spirit.
Ian and I enjoying the morning on our balcony.

Ian was trying to tell me his favorite joke. I'm sure he will get better at it as he gets older., but for now he can't even get through it without falling out laughing.

This is a scan of the Santa picture so its a little grainy but you get the idea....as you can see, there was no fear of Santa! Wait until next year!!

Matthew is 13! And he got his first cell phone...
Liv was a pajama party girl for Halloween.
Em made her first batch of Mississippi Mud for Thanksgiving and got
a little creative with the cherries.
Matthew was a Ghostbuster for Halloween.

A few photos from the past week

Granny, Uncle Joey, Aunt Angie, Eryn and Sean Patrick came over for Thanksgiving. Sean Patrick and his puppy, as well as Granny are in this picture with us.

Ian and Anderson chilling out at Mimi and Bo's house.

We went to Logan's house to try to watch the LSU-Ole Miss game (it ended up getting blacked out). As you can see, they are both shocked that the game went to overtime. At least Ian went home happy after LSU escaped with a win.

Just Say "NO"...

TO SQUASH!!

Check out the "Do"

No, we didn't cut his hair with clippers...its a natural crew cut! These little sprouts have really taken off! We should have a head full in no time. Also note Ian's newest and most favorite activity: Finger chewing!! YUMMY!

Need a new post, quick!!

Ok, Jeff asked me to add a new post. It seems that every time he logged on, he was becoming more and more disturbed by the images of our Halloween garb.... I can't blame him!! We haven't done anything very exciting lately so I thought I would do a "Look how much Ian has grown" post. Ian will be 5 months old on Thursday! Hope these images erase some of the terror from the last ones!

Halloween Party/ Southern Miss Game

Dr. Ian and his redneck patients.
Caryn looked so good I had to show her close-up.
Dr. Ian is worn out after a long day of providing top notch medical care.
Four members of our fine medical community.
Dressed in black and gold for Ian's first USM game.

Bundled up and ready to go home. At least USM was winning when we left. I didn't have the heart to tell Ian that we lost.

Addition to the Family

Eryn and Sean are proud to announce the arrival of their new baby sister.

Her name is Sweet Suzie and she is a Whippet puppy.

Of course, she has treated us to all of her little puppy surprizes in a short amount of time.
Tonight, we came home to a horrendous smell and found that Suzie had had a colon blow in her kennel. Welcome home family, I missed you

This past week...

We went to a Pumpkin Patch and had a really good time. Ian picked out some nice pumpkins.

"Logan wants free medical advice....again?!?"

We've been attempting to feed Ian cereal for the past week. Here is how a spoonful goes...

"Oh no, not this again...I hate cereal..."

"Ok, I'm going to spit this out now... maybe I'll gag first!"

"Oh, wait a minute....that's really not that bad....MORE PLEASE!!"
